Itinerary
Your tour to Zanzibar kicks out with a trip to Prison Island, which was bought in 1893 by British First Minister Lloyd Mathews. Although Mathews built a jail on the island, which is still there, no inmates were ever imprisoned there; instead, the island served as a quarantine center for those with yellow fever.
