Itinerary
Nungwi is home to some of Zanzibar’s most coveted attractions: its beautiful beaches. This is mainly due to the fact that the tides do not significantly alter the shoreline. But did you know that local dhow production is centered in Nungwi? Learn from local artisans and see them construct these magnificent sailing ships.
Have a late lunch at a nearby eatery on the house, on the house. Then visit an actual turtle rescue center. After being nursed back to health, the turtles are released back into the ocean. Learn how to swim and feed these amazing creatures.
