From Stone Town: Dhow Sailing Island Tour with BBQ Lunch

Overview

Explore some of Zanzibar’s most well-known and fascinating attractions. Enjoy a day at sea aboard a traditional Swahili dhow, a delicious seafood picnic on the beach, and some time at rest on a deserted island cove.

This is without a doubt one of Zanzibar’s most well-liked and unforgettable tours. The tour includes a voyage in a traditional Swahili dhow, a delicious seafood lunch, and a stop at a few stunning, undeveloped island beaches. Also, we’ll be able to go snorkeling among the beautiful tropical fish of Zanzibar.

Itinerary

The journey begins in the Fishing Village, or Funba, in the island’s southwest. The trip to Stone Town just takes 35 minutes. This journey takes you to a bay in the tropical Indian Ocean that is arguably the most interesting and naturally spectacular place you will ever visit. The traditional wooden sailing dhow we have commissioned for this trip will take us from Fumba.

Snorkeling in the Kwale coral reef is the first stop, as it has an incredible variety of corals and fish. After that, unwind on a sandbank reminiscent of a tropical paradise while munching on a snack and enjoying some fresh fruit. You may then look forward to a beach BBQ seafood buffet with octopus, lobster, grilled fish, calamari, soft beverages, and tropical fruits during your visit to Quail Island. Any and any seafood your taste buds could desire. Other than swimming in a mangrove lagoon and hiking up a 500-year-old baobab tree, visitors visiting the island may also explore the forest and view some amazing wildlife on their way back to Fumba Village via sailboat.
